Portobello Road

Dear Diary,

Buongiorno! Come stai? I`ve got to reveal a huge secret.... There are two lovers in London City: the sun and the rain and they are constantly playing hide and seek. On 12 October, the winner was the sun; so I got up, had a palatable breakfast, put on some stylish clothes, took the tube from Sloane Square and arrived to the ultimate Saturday destination: PORTOBELLO ROAD.

What`s that in my hands? Nop, it`s not cappuccino guys. I`m a tea-holic type! This is not an ordinary tea; it`s a bubble tea!

Welcome to Portobello Road, the world’s largest antiques market with over 1,000 dealers selling every kind of antique and collectible. Visitors flock from all over the world to discover one of London’s best loved landmarks which contains the most extensive selection of antiques in Britain.
Things to do:
                    1) Portobello Market: The world famous Portobello Road hosts the largest antiques market on the planet every Saturday.Pay extra attention cause the antiques and bric-a-brac stalls are open only on Saturdays.

                    2) Electric Cinema: it offers a uniquely intimate film viewing experience (in either a plush arm chair or two seat sofa) where you can enjoy current and older movies.

                     3) Notting Hill Carnival: Every year during the August Bank Holiday weekend London celebrates Europe’s biggest street festival – Notting Hill Carnival.

What did I do there? Mmmmmm, I went to the market cause I`m keen on markets -have a look at the Apple Market on my previous post.

Loved this second-hand romantic pink strapless dress...

That`s all for now D.
Until next time,
Mille baci!
