Dear Diary,

As I am browsing through my summer pics, I feel quite nostalgic about the summer days I spent back in Greece...
What summer brings, no other season can bring it to me...
As I said on my previous post, summer means a lot to me.... I have so much time to kill doing things that I really love and complete me!
I went to Chalkidiki for more or less 6 days. I didn`t miss one single day without going to the beach. The very last day, when I realised that I was running out of time and there were still  a few thing in my mind to do before going to Thessaloniki and fly back to London, I was in a panic.... I had a wishlist with all the things I wanted to do and eat/drink and when I checked that list a few hadn`t been crossed out. One of them was going roller-skating! So the last day, after the beach, I put on my rollers and start rolling on them. Well, I can`t describe how free you feel on these 6 wheels. You think that you can travel the world! Obviously, that`s impossible....

I like to roller skate. I `ve been doing so since I was eight!
Till next time, roll on the weekend!

Summer in Greece

Dear Diary,

Long time no see, huh? But I do have a plausible excuse! I was on a leave. I went on holidays.
After 11 whole months, I went back home just for 12 days.... Oh, yes! More or less 330 days abroad and 12 back home..... Not fair at all!
It was so lovely being surrounded by family and good friends...! No words can be found to describe such emotions....
Unfortunately, it was the shortest summer in my life and I do feel homesick and `summersick`. I hadn`t realised it, until the very moment I was there.
Despite the fact that it was short, I managed to do lots of things...ok, there is always room for more, but....
For me, summer is Greece. You can`t find a more proper place to be during summer than Greece!
Normally, I combine Chalkidiki and an island for my summer vacations but due to lack of time, I just went to Chalkidiki which is near my hometown, Thessaloniki.
Summer is all about blue, sea, sand, sun, swimwear, sunbeds, sun-kissed skin, salty hair, fun, good friends, shockingly good traditional food and many more; the list can go on like forever....!
Some of the following pics might be familiar to those who follow me on Instagram. (

Sooneror later, all good things come to an end....So does summer!
But my summer posts are about to star on my blog for the next couple of weeks; until the very last day of August, when summer is typically over.
Till next time,
enjoy the rest of summer. I`ll do the same here in London....
Kiss kiss,
Litsiana K.
